Centre for Professional Education
The Centre for Professional Health Education provides a variety of professional development and continuing education opportunities for professionals across multiple disciplines, including health, education and others.
Customised programs and courses are developed in partnership with organisations or agencies to deliver quality professional development for their workforce. This is designed to enable employees to meet their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) obligations in their profession.

Alumni can apply for free annual membership of CQUniversity library. Please visit a library on any of our campuses to apply for a borrowing card. Physical loans must be borrowed in person from any campus campus.Visit the library website for further details about alumni borrowing information and regulations.

Australian Institute of Management (AIM) - Personal Membership
We are pleased to offer this excellent opportunity, in conjunciton with The Australian Institute of Management QLD NSW ACT NT. From new managers to leaders of business, AIM has more than 9,000 members in a variety of industries, in the smallest entrepreneurial endeavour to the big end of town. AIM offers training, events, networking, access to information, and professional manager post-nominals.
Young Managers (up to 30 years of age) may be particularly interested in the Emerging Manager member category. NB Employers may sponsor your membership as a Professional Development activity.

CQUniversity Career Services
A large number of FREE career services are available to alumni for 12 months after they graduate. This includes events, resume and job application checking, and career direction advice. You can find out more about the special career benefits on the Career Services page.
Employment Preparation Session - Participants must access the self-directed employment preparation material available on CareerHub before booking for this session. Please register for CareerHub via the link below, and undertake the course, and then contact the CareersTeam at email@example.com.

In addition, a free online jobs board is available to all graduates. CareerHub enables graduates to search for full, casual or part-time positions; graduate recruitment; employer information; and receive resume preparation and selection criteria preparation advice.

The School of Education and The Arts, incorporating the Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music, encourages all CQUniversity Alumni to become a "Friend of the Conservatorium" to access advance bookings and special concession rates to a variety of concerts, master-classes and exhibitions presented by the School. Your support will benefit the next generation of performers studying at the Conservatorium.

Achieve a more active, healthier and relaxed lifestyle by joining the CQUni Community Sports Centre, located on the North Rockhampton campus. The Centre’s facilities include an indoor and outdoor gym, heated pool, and large variety of classes, free tennis court hire and an athletics oval.

With hundreds of alumni residing in China, CQUniversity has forged a strong link with the Australia China Alumni Association (ACAA), established to promote Australian education through the success of alumni and supporting alumni via business and social networking. Members receive event discounts, special invitations to exclusive member-only events, monthly e-newsletters and other special offers.
ACAA established the Australia China Alumni Awards in 2009 and alumni living in China who are an Australian university graduate are able to be nominated for a range of categories. The awards recognise the success of the wide-ranging achievements of graduates living in China (both local and expatriate).
To take advantage of the range of benefits on offer, alumni of CQUniversity are invited to join ACAA.
Joining an existing club, group or society is a great way to expand your social or professional networks, and gain demonstrable leaderships skills. Meet like-minded people by joining a club, group or society. It’s free to join, and there are variety of groups based on interest and university discipline. The list of clubs and societies is constantly growing, so make sure you check back from time-to-time to find out about the latest additions. If your ideal club, group or society doesn’t exist, you can start one. It’s a great way to demonstrate initiative and gain experience, while meeting fellow alumni and students. CQUniversity is delighted to offer Alumni continued access to your Moodle Courses for up to* three (3) years after graduation. This will allow you to review your course content without all the stress of exams!
To assist Alumni with transitioning to the workforce your Mahara Student Portfolio is now available online for life!
Access to both Moodle and Mahara is via the My.CQU student portal using your existing CQU Username and Password. If you do not remember your log-in details, you will need to contact the Information Technology Helpdesk directly to have your password reset. You can contact the Helpdesk on freecall (within Australia) 1300 666 620 or email: email@example.com. Please include your student ID number in your request.
