The Alumni Development Fund is made possible by generous donations from CQUni staff, graduates and partner organisations. Find out how your support can nurture stronger communities.

Graduates in China

Australia China Alumni Association

With hundreds of alumni living in China, we’ve forged a strong link with the Australia China Alumni Association (ACAA).  We’re a university member of this organisation, which is an overarching program for all China-based graduates of Australian universities. ACAA membership is free and is a great opportunity for you to attend events, mentor (or be mentored), meet other graduates of Australian universities, hear about job vacancies and more. We encourage you to take advantage of the range of benefits on offer and join ACAA.

Australia China Alumni Awards

The prestigious Australia China Alumni Awards recognise outstanding work from Australian university graduates living in China. If you’d like to be considered for the Awards, ensure your location and employment details are up-to-date.

University services

Lifelong email account

CQUni Mail is the name of the University's email system that is provided by Google. All recent graduates have a CQUni Mail email address which they can continue to use after graduation. If you graduated before CQUni Mail was in use and would like a @cqumail.com email address, please contact us.

Communications and Events

Alumni have access to a range of free communications to keep you up-to-date with the latest news, initiatives and opportunities. Events are sent based on the location recorded in our alumni database - update your contact and employment details to ensure you hear relevant news, initiatives and opportunities.

Moodle/Mahara Access

If you loaded course documents into Mahara, these are available online for life. Course notes and subject outlines are available through Moodle for up to three years after graduation (this is dependent on the archiving schedule).

The aim is to help you smoothly transition into the workforce by allowing you to review course content and documents to polish your discipline knowledge. Moodle and Mahara access can be useful after graduation when writing a resume or preparing for a job interview.

Access to both Moodle and Mahara is via the My.CQU student portal using your existing CQU Username and Password. If you can’t remember your username or need your password reset, contact the Information Technology Helpdesk. You can contact the Helpdesk on free call (within Australia) on 1300 666 620 or email: tasac@cqu.edu.au. Please include your student ID number in your request.
