Engagement and Impact Assessment
In December 2015, as part of its National Innovation and Science Agenda (NISA), the Government announced the development of a national Engagement and Impact (EI) assessment, to examine how universities are translating their research into economic, environmental, social and other benefits. EI 2018 was a companion exercise to Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) 2018.
CQUniversity has excelled in the inaugural round of the Impact and Engagement (E&I) Assessment, with 11 out of 13 research areas receiving a high or medium rating. CQUniversity has demonstrated it is conducting highly relevant research that is making a difference.
CQUniversity achieved the highest rating for research impact for:
- Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences;
- Law and Legal Studies
- Medical & Health Sciences (Public & Allied Health); and
- Psychology and Cognitive Sciences.
