Orientation at CQUniversity consists of compulsory and optional events, allowing you to create a customised orientation schedule.

The Orientation TV (OTV) webinars provide essential information you need to commence your studies and are compulsory for all new international students.

One of the compulsory OTV webinars is called International Student Essentials and covers important topics including student visa conditions, adjusting to life in Australia, health cover and staying safe, your workplace rights, key dates, fees and e-forms, and international student support.

We also strongly recommend you attend the Campus Experience events for your campus, in addition to the OTV webinars. Campus Experience events are an important opportunity to meet fellow students and CQUniversity staff as well as be introduced to campus facilities and University support services.

In addition, you will be able to attend optional All About Uni Workshops that cover a range of topics, such as managing your enrolment, student fees, class timetables, work-integrated learning, and more. This allows you to create a customised Orientation schedule based on what you need and want to know more about.

Visit MyCQU for more information and to book your Orientation sessions. For help logging in to MyCQU, visit the student login details page.
