Unique study locations

Unlike any other university in Australia, CQUniversity has campuses across the country, each giving students a unique Australian experience. If you stay with us for two terms, you can choose to study at more than one campus and mix the urban with the regional, hot with cool, tropical with temperate or whatever suits your academic and personal interests.

Brisbane CBD, Queensland

Next to the Anne Street Shopping precinct, town hall and the main train station, you could not be more centrally and conveniently located. Brisbane is a smaller city combining the convenience of a major urban city with a slower pace of life with 300 days of sunshine a year.

We have March, July and November academic intakes at our Brisbane campus and regular intakes for students wanting to study English or combine English with academic courses. We run bespoke short-courses for groups all year round on request and subject to approval.

Bundaberg, Regional Queensland

Bundaberg is a smaller regional city in the agricultural belt of Australia. It is one of the world's best places to study agribusiness and horticulture and we have world-leading experts running our courses from Bachelors through to Masters. Just a few minutes away is Mon Repos beach with the annual turtle hatching over the summer months while from June to November the bay becomes a breeding ground for migrating humpback whales. The UNESCO World Heritage site Fraser Island is only a couple of hours away. You can also access the southern Great Barrier Reef, from Bundaberg, one of the healthiest sections of the reef.

We have March and July academic intakes in Bundaberg but we run bespoke short-courses for groups all year round on request and subject to approval.

Gladstone, Regional Queensland

Situated in a unique location in the centre of hard industry and engineering in Australia and on the edge of one of the most pristine sections of the Great Barrier Reef. If you are interested in industry, engineering, construction and the environment, Gladstone is the place to go. You could visit Rio Tinto one day and the Marine Park Authority the next and get an understanding of how these very different environments can coexist. We offer courses of all levels on our Gladstone campuses.

We have March and July academic intakes in Gladstone but we run bespoke short-courses for groups all year round on request.

Mackay, Tropical North Queensland

We have amazing facilities for nursing, engineering and the trades in tropical Mackay, alongside Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music (CQCM). This fantastic facility delivers a wide range of performing arts, digital media and creative enterprise courses. You can live in student residencies and you're only an hour from some of Queensland's best beaches. The Whitsundays are also on your doorstep.
