There is a range of other services that the PRL can provide including;
PRL staff can provide services in many aspects of research design including the development of samples by defining sample populations, preparing weighted estimates and measuring validity. We can also ensure that questionnaires are designed in a way to avoid bias, maintain interest and minimise inconvenience for respondents, and will provide valid and robust data.
Data Management and Analysis
The PRL has the capacity to enter and manage large collections of data. This can include checking codes, preparing analysis files, creating new variables and indices, combining data, updating master files, etc. We can also conduct statistical analysis on existing data sets to identify patterns and relationships. We also provide a secure server to house and archive electronic data files.
Other Data Collection
In addition to online and CATI surveys, the PRL can assist with personal interviewing, traditional pencil and paper surveys, coordinated door-to-door survey drop-off/pick-up, and mixed-method data collection (involving a combination of data collection approaches).
