CQUniversity Sydney Health Clinic is a public access clinic with state-of-the-art health facilities. The clinic provides a practical learning environment for students under the clinical supervision of registered health professionals and offers a range of services which are available to CQUniversity staff and students as well as the general public.
No referrals necessary.
CQUniversity Sydney Health Clinic delivers podiatry services to the wider community. Podiatrists are health care professionals who deal with the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of medical and surgical conditions of the feet and lower limbs.
Podiatrists aim to improve mobility, independence and quality of life for their patients and to help reduce complications associated with all risk conditions affecting the feet.
CQUniversity Health Clinic services are provided by students under the supervision of accredited clinicians. Services include:
- General podiatry care
- Toenail problems, corns and callouses
- Diabetes management and education
- Complete assessment including vascular and neurological screening
- Biomechanical assessment, gait analysis and orthoses therapy
- Mobility complaints for all ages
- Paediatric assessment and management
- Conditions such as flat feet, heel pain, growing pains
- Footwear assessment and education
- Minor nail surgery.
