CQU Community Sports Centre offers hire of facilities for organisations, businesses and sporting groups around the Central Queensland Community. If you would like to find out more information, contact the Sports Centre team.

Athletics Oval

Athletics oval with lights available. Available to hire to external groups and schools.

Baseball Diamond

Fenced baseball field with on site seating, change rooms and toilets. Available for hire to external groups and schools.

Functional training court

The facility has an outdoor court functional training area, which has all functional training equipment and a Queenax matrix. This space is where the CQUni classes are held.

Gymnasium

Everything you need is a one-stop workout at the CQUni Sports Centre. Cardio equipment, which includes (treadmills, x-trainers, spin bikes, recumbent bikes, upright bikes, rowers and arm ergo machine). Resistance based equipment includes (pin loaded machines, free weights, squat racks, benches, functional training equipment).

Rugby Oval

Rugby oval with lights available. Canteen space on site with toilet and storage room. Available to hire to external groups and schools.

Stadium

Multi-purpose stadium, which has the following: 3 x basketball courts side by side, retractable seating (under 2000 seats), canteen area and first aid room with lights and is fully air-conditioned. Venue attracts a variety of events and is available to external groups for hire.
