Since 2002, CQUniversity has provided access to High Performance Computing (HPC) and Visualisation facilities.
With the newly commissioned High Performance Computing facility (installed September 2012), CQUniversity Staff and students has access to unprecedented local research computing infrastructure. Compared to previous facilities, the new system will provide 40 times more storage, 14 times the available memory and significant increases in network performance.
Additionally, CQUniversity has Access Grid Facilities that allows CQUniversity Staff and students access to large "visual" displays that can assist with Visualisation modelling and demonstrations.
For more information on CQUniversity's High Performance Computing infrastructure can be found at the HPC website.
