CQUni Townsville campus building officially opened

CQUniversity newest campus building at Townsville was officially opened by Vice-Chancellor and President Prof Scott Bowman, Associate Vice-Chancellor North West Queensland Kari Arbouin, Townsville Mayor Cr Jenny Hill and CQUni Chancellor John Abbott.
Townsville Mayor Cr Jenny Hill this week officially opened Townsville’s newest CQUniversity building.
Cr Hill was joined by CQUniversity Chancellor John Abbott, Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Scott Bowman and Townsville and North West Queensland Associate Vice-Chancellor Kari Arbouin.
The building, which opened on 25 October, comprises state-of-the-art tutorial rooms, clinical labs and numbers student breakout spaces to name just a few of the facilities.
It was developed in order to service the growing number of students enrolled at CQUni in the Townsville region.
Among respected members of the local community, the opening also saw CQUniversity Student Representative Council members, senior leaders and University Council members in attendance, who are in Townsville for the ninth annual Senior Leadership Conference.
