CQUni signs Memorandum of Understanding with Indonesia's Institut Teknologi Del

CQUniversity recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Institut Teknologi Del in Jakarta, Indonesia to explore avenues for student exchange, research collaboration and the development of a new social innovation centre. CQUniversity is forging new partnerships in Indonesia with Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor International and Services Alastair Dawson signing a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institut Teknologi Del in Jakarta on 2 September.

The MoU sets out cooperation in several areas including, the potential for student and staff exchange, research collaboration, degree education assessment and the development of a social innovation centre.

The MoU was signed by Mr Dawson and Institut Teknologi Del Prof Togar Simatupang.

Mr Dawson and CQUni Associate Vice-Chancellor (West Australian Region) Prof Trevor Davison were also met by the Institut's Chancellor Patuan Simatupang.

The MOU signing was also attended by Advisory Council Republic of Indonesia President Suharso Monoarfa and his associate Kemal Taruc.

Following the MOU signing was the CQUni contingent had a meeting with Indonesian Coordinating Minister General Luhut Panjaitan who said he "welcomed the MoU and was looking forward to seeing the partnership grow in the coming years."

The meeting also explored other education opportunities for CQUniversity in Indonesia.
