Overview

Working safely in a domestic violence setting is everyone’s responsibility. Learn the strategies to ensure you are maintaining your own and your co-workers’ personal health and wellbeing and gain the knowledge and skills to provide support for workers impacted by domestic and family violence. This is the fourth and final in a series of micro-credentials that form an evidence based professional development suite for your portfolio.

In this micro-credential, you will learn about health and safety issues when working within a domestic and family violence context. This includes personal health and wellbeing self-care strategies, and support options for workers impacted by domestic and family violence.

This is a non-creditable micro-credential which is awarded a digital badge and Certificate of Completion which can be shared to your social networks and displayed in your professional portfolio.

Undertaking this micro-credential enables students to meet their Continuing Professional Development obligations and industry update requirements in their profession. Upon successful completion of the micro-credential, students will be awarded Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours, a non-creditable micro-credential (Digital Badge) and a Certificate of Completion.

Structure & Availability

Micro-credential: A micro-credential is an online short course with assessment, which, on successful completion is awarded a digital badge through our badge partners Credly. Instructions for this are provided at the end of the course.
