Course Summary

There is currently no cure for MND and management of disease is aimed at providing as much function, independence and comfort as possible with the assistance of a health team. The principles of nursing management can be applied in any clinical setting whether acute, residential or community.

During completion of this course, you will gain and understanding of:

  • the effects of MND
  • common care issues encountered with clients who have MND
  • assessment and management of clients with MND.
