NACC00008 - Basic Barista
At a glanceThis is a hands-on, three hour course introducing participants to the skills needed to gain employment in a café or coffee shop or to simply impress all your friends. Participants will learn about a range of different coffee styles (including cappuccino, café latte and long black), preparing and presenting coffee, as well as using and maintaining an espresso machine. By the end of the course, you will be able to create and serve a professional standard beverage.

Student Outcomes, Career Opportunities and Occupations
- Students will receive a Result of Assessment within 21 days of completion of each unit/module or within 21 days of the ‘close of study’ date.
- Students who successfully complete all required units/modules will receive their qualification and an Academic Statement itemising all units/modules successfully completed.
- Following receipt of written advice from the student (or teacher) that the student does not intend to complete the full course, the student will be issued with a Statement of Attainment listing all units/modules successfully completed.
