Would you like some more guidance around the types of careers that are suited to your personality and interests?
Setting career goals gives you vision and motivation for your future. This online micro-credential will explore the four stages of career planning and practical strategies for setting and achieving your career goals. Through the completion of a career profiling tool, you will examine the alignment of your interests with various occupations and career paths. Applying this career information will help you to design a relevant career path. All of these tools are included in the course fee of $226.
Students who successfully complete the set of 9 micro-credentials* developed from the unit SKIL40025 Preparation Skills for University, (which forms part of the Skills for Tertiary Education Preparatory Studies (STEPS) CL03), may be eligible for credit transfer, pending all other entry requirements to the Skills for Tertiary Education Preparatory Studies (STEPS) CL03 are being met, as automatic entry will not apply.

- Evaluate the types of careers you are suited to, based on profiling tools
- Use online websites to research occupation information for careers of interest
- Interact with the online CQUni Handbook to locate relevant information about programs of study.
