Studying on-campus is a great way to experience university.
Traditionally, on-campus study involved face-to-face classes on a weekly basis, in accordance with a strict timetable. While the essence of this tradition continues, our approach to on-campus study has evolved to be more flexible, offering interactive learning experiences with videoconferencing across campus locations, and a mix of on-campus and online learning activities, designed to enrich your learning experience.
Study on-campus and you will be surrounded by a supportive campus community, enjoy exciting opportunities to meet new people and participate in in extra-curricular activities so you can have fun while you study. Benefit from easy access to campus-based facilities such as libraries, lecture theatres and other learning spaces, student advice centres and commercial outlets such as food and beverage retailers.
With 13 campuses to choose from, you'll be sure to find a CQUniversity location to suit your learning style and personal preferences. Choose one of our metropolitan locations, in some of the world's most liveable cities, and enjoy state-of-the-art learning facilities in a bustling CBD environment, with easy access to public transport, shopping, dining and leisure opportunities. Our expansive, tree-studded regional campuses offer a more relaxed learning environment with free on-site parking, on-campus accommodation options, student recreation and sporting facilities, and more.

If you are enrolled in an undergraduate or coursework postgraduate course at another institution, and wish to undertake CQUniversity units, you may choose to apply for cross-institutional study.
You will require approval from your home institution and this must be submitted as part of your application.
As a cross-institutional student you will be eligible to access the same fee systems that you are receiving at your home university (for example, HECS or FEE-HELP) unless you choose to enrol in a course that has a different fee structure.
