Do you want to solve real world problems and make an impact?

The office of Social Innovation in collaboration with the Gladstone campus and community will facilitate an eight day Studio residential, enabling a small cohort of students the opportunity to apply their social innovation, leadership, collaborative, design and entrepreneurial talents to create lasting social impact. You will be challenged with the task of facilitating engagement with the community, utilising and applying human-centred design and co-design approaches to produce unique and innovative ideas.

Participation in the Gladstone Region Social Innovation Studio (SISG3) can be as an extracurricular activity or can be credited through the BUSN19021 Project unit (this School of Business and Law unit is open to students from other courses). Important note - unit credit requires students to enroll in the BUSN19021 Project unit, participate in the SISG3, and complete all unit task requirements and assessment. Students should review the BUSN19021 unit profile and Moodle page for details about learning outcomes, the term schedule and the unit and assessment requirements, and should also be in contact with Course Advisors spc@cqu.edu.au to check the suitability of this unit for their course of study.
