It’s the buzzword that drives everything from cryptocurrency to digital documentation, and new technology blockchain promises to be as big as the internet for social disruption.
But can the impenetrable digital databasing tool be a force for social good, too?
CQUniversity Melbourne is inviting changemakers and social entrepreneurs to connect with the possibilities, with a free lecture Applying blockchain to social innovation.
The event, on Thursday 20 September from 6 pm – 8.15 pm, will explore blockchain technology from a range of social impact perspectives, and invite participants to brainstorm their own ideas for positive disruption.

Presented by CQUni’s Office of Social Innovation, the session will also follow the fortunes of social good blockchain startups, and assess their success in effective change.
