ABOUT THE DEPUTY VICE-PRESIDENT, VET OPERATIONS AND GROWTH

The Deputy Vice-President, VET Operations Growth provides strategic leadership and operational guidance across CQUniversity’s TAFE Operations. This includes leading and managing strategic projects to enhance and grow vocational education and training (VET) within the Central Queensland region, and working collaboratively with senior staff across the University.

ABOUT PETER HEILBUTH

Prior to joining CQUniversity in November 2016, Peter worked as Chief Executive Officer of three regional TAFE Institutes, two in Victoria and one in NSW. His VET career spans a range of teaching and administrative roles, and Peter spent seven years in charge of business and organisational development at East Gippsland Institute of TAFE.

Peter has a Masters Degree in Philosophy (Education) and is committed to working with regional communities and organisations to change lives through vocational education.
