Staff are entitled to a range of leave entitlements including:
- Annual leave with 17.5% leave loading
- Sick leave

CQUniversity provides superannuation entitlements to all staff by contributing to UniSuper.

Study assistance and training opportunities
Members of staff are encouraged to attend short courses or conferences of direct relevance to the workplace. In addition, staff may be entitled to financial assistance for a formal study that will assist their current position.

Employee assistance program
CQUniversity's Employee Assistance Program offers staff a variety of services to assist with problems which may impact on their work performance. This program is fully funded.
The university offers a number of salary packaging options for employees, this can include but is not limited to vehicle leasing and voluntary contributions into superannuation. For more information view the Salary Packaging Policy.
CQUniversity provides staff with a health care discount through Bupa. This arrangement enables employees enrolled in the plan to obtain generous cost savings.

Child Care Facilities
C&K nGundanoo Imbabee Community Child Care Centre located on Rockhampton Campus is a non-profit community based and managed centre which offers long day care for children up to 5 years of age. This centre meets the standard requirement for Accreditation under the relevant Child Care Quality Assurance system. For more information phone the centre on (07) 4936 2748.
CQUniversity operates a multi-campus structure. The University now has campuses in Adelaide, Brisbane, Bundaberg, Cairns, Emerald, Gladstone, Mackay, Melbourne, Noosa, Rockhampton, Sydney, Townsville and Perth. Other locations for CQUniversity are currently established in Biloela, Broome, Busselton, Cooma, Geraldton, Karratha and Yeppoon. These locations will be as a mix of Partner Study Hubs, Study Centres and Delivery Sites. Regardless of where they're located, CQUniversity campuses are well known for their friendly and responsive nature.
