Safety and Wellbeing

CQUniversity’s holistic approach to safety and wellbeing has been integrated into our culture, systems, strategies and programs. The Safety and Wellbeing team are committed to:

• Setting the direction and policy for Safety and Wellbeing across the University;
• Providing advice and support in regard to general health and safety matters;
• Managing early intervention programs and coordinating staff wellbeing initiatives and programs.

In 2019, CQUniversity won the Best Commitment to Work Health and Safety Award and Best Demonstrated Leadership in Work Health and Safety Award at the Queensland Government's Safe Work and Return to Work Awards.
