Meeting your needs

We all have our own reasons for giving. Whether it's to honour someone close to you, establish a legacy inspired by education, foster knowledge and recruit staff in a particular area,  or invest in training that will deliver practical benefits to Central Queensland – we can help. There are many different ways to get involved with CQUniversity that meet your own needs and give something back to our community. You may choose to:

Make a general donation

John Villiers AmbulanceThe needs of our students and communities is constantly changing – and we must be able to respond to those changes. Making a general (or unrestricted) donation to support CQUniversity allows us to direct your gift to where it may have the greatest impact at the time. Make a gift now via our online donation page

Support our giving programs

We have many established programs actively contributing to benefit our communities. You can choose to direct your gift towards an existing program, or establish a new one.

Partner with us

Giving to CQUniversity is a partnership of shared values. We work with corporate and industry partners to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for all. In the past this has included sponsorship of research positions, establishing new scholarships, prizes and equipment funds, workplace giving and other programs to benefit local communities. For more information on partnership opportunities, please contact Development Manager on 4923 2822 or email

Make a bequest

Making a bequest (a gift in your Will) is a meaningful way to support something important to you; and can be a way to make a gift that may not be possible during your lifetime. Bequests to CQUniversity are helping to make higher education more accessible and ensuring the excellence of a CQUniversity education. View our Bequest Brochure for more information.

Make a cultural donationDunlop Painting

Every gift is appreciated and contributions don't need to be financial to make a difference. Donations of art works are vital in developing CQUniversity's Art Collection and we treasure these gifts. Donations may be made through the Australian Government's Cultural Gifts Program, which allows a 100% tax deduction of the value of the work.
