Morgan Lewis

My name is Morgan Lewis and I am a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)/ Diploma of Professional Practice (Co-op Engineering) (Mechatronics Major) graduate and former recipient of a CQUniCares Downer Scholarship.

Growing up, I never quite knew what I wanted to do. I’ve always looked at the world as a supplier of endless opportunities, so picking just one career to pursue was a hard prospect. Deep down, I think I always knew I wanted to become an engineer.

At the end of 2017, I was preparing for the first of two, six-month industry placements and approaching everyone I knew in the engineering industry. I was awarded the CQUniCares Downer Scholarship and everything just fell into place.

I have been offered so many amazing opportunities thanks to the wonderful team at Downer. I’ve developed both in my personal and professional capabilities and will be forever grateful that everything aligned to make this possible.
