Jenuarrie
A Koinjmal women from the eastern coastal plains of Central Queensland; Jenuarrie’s first language is Guwinamal. She is the president of the Koonmeburra Aboriginal Corporation, the recognised Custodians of the land between Cape Palmerston and Saint Lawrence.
She is a visual artist – printmaker, painter and ceramicist. Jenuarrie is an author and her book A Gift of Knowledge is testament to her life and journey as an artist.

Trish Barnard
Trish is a descendent of the Yambina and Junga people, whose country is inland from Mackay and south of Charters Towers in Queensland
She is a freelance consultant with experience as a curator, researcher, teacher and writer. Trish curates exhibitions and content for interpretive centres and is now using her curatorial experience to help Aboriginal communities create places where their history and culture can be preserved.

Garth Edwards
Garth is a man from Mamu Country near Innisfail in Far North Queensland. He is also an actor and now a student of film making at CQUniversity on the Cairns Campus.
He is the rapper Jpoint. His YouTube channel reveals his dedication to narrative through original music, words and visuals.
A storyteller first and foremost, Garth values the collaborative process of gathering a team together to deliver a story.

Charmaine Saunders
Charmaine Saunders is a Gunggari woman from the Maranoa River area of south-west Queensland.
She is the creator and founder of Mainie, an Australian fashion label that combines authentic Aboriginal Dreamtime artworks and luxurious textiles in celebration of oldest living culture in the world.
A former public servant who was looking for a new direction in her professional life, she was inspired by a celebrity with a taste for colour and individuality.

Vicki Saunders
A Gungarri woman from south-west Queensland, Vicki is a senior research fellow with the Jawan Research Centre on the Cairns Campus of CQUniversity.
Vicki strives to ensure research methods are collaborative, suitable and beneficial to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
She is focussed on various areas of research in relation to First Nations peoples and her inquisitive mind has led her to the field of acoustic ecology.

Jahvis Loveday
Jahvis Loveday is a Dyirbal man from Mission Beach, Qld., who has lived most of his life in the Northern Rivers area of NSW.
An award-winning young film maker, Jahvis’s short film BAMA earned him national recognition, as it was chosen to represent Australia at the 2021- 2022 International Expo in Dubai.
Jahvis is connected to the Country he loves and his latest release Bangay lore is story told that is an expression of his culture, familial connections and their desire to dance the story of the spear.
