It’s my hope that the research process and model developed in my doctoral (PhD) study will help sovereign women reinvigorate cultural practices rather than relying solely on western healthcare practices as a way of creating and sustaining wellness.

We cannot improve our situation unless we are in a management role. My study hopes to improve employment outcomes for Indigenous people in leadership positions, and ultimately encourages more First Nations people to undertake management roles.
