There is an insatiable appetite world-wide for creative enterprise in all its forms. Creative enterprise is that segment of creative industry that communicates messages though design - artwork, graphics and story, and thereby conveys meaning.  Creative enterprise derives from the merger of globally networked communication technologies, information systems, financial markets and cultural pursuits which are now integrated in mainstream global economic activities. Creative enterprise manifests in creative writing, advertising, video clips, movies, broadcasting, cell phones, electronic games, education, in fact, almost everywhere.  It has become one of the largest and most profitable industries in the world, and certainly the most influential because it designs and disseminates communications that speak directly every day to communities, cultures and potentially the entire globe.

Think of the number of advertisements, television and radio programs, movies, video clips and other communications to which we are exposed daily and how we seek new creative enterprises to stimulate and excite us. Coupled with innovation in information communication technology, the future of creative enterprise in all its forms conveyed by multiple media channels appears to be assured.  The economic impact and employment potential of creative enterprise as part of the creative industries is recognized across Asia-Pacific with government policies for its advancement in  Australia, China, Indonesia, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, and Thailand.
