The Graduate Certificate in Creative Industries (Creative Practice) is aimed primarily at creative and performing artists and others in the creative industries wishing to extend their capacity in a flexible, supportive and creative environment. The program comprises three project courses where you will develop and complete a creative project under expert guidance. The academic project supervisors in this program are all practicing professionals who are, moreover, active researchers who utilise the most up-to-date knowledge and skills in their fields.
Projects can be completed in any area of the creative arts including creative and professional writing, editing and publishing; music, theatre, film and television; fine arts including photography; museum and gallery related activities, web and multimedia design; creative arts education, and associated fields.
This program is designed to provide advanced academic, creative and practical skills to work in the creative industries in fields including creative and professional writing, editing and publishing; music, theatre, film and television; fine arts including photography; museums and galleries, web and multimedia design; broadcasting and web casting; advertising, media, public relations; and all areas of arts support.
