CQUniversity's Bachelor of Multimedia (Honours) allows you to extend your knowledge in a specific area of multimedia and prepares you to enhance your career prospects or move successfully into postgraduate research. This one year program gives you the additional skills and knowledge in the field to gain a competitive edge.
The program is designed to enable you to explore and develop practical skills and techniques and build skills in the areas of independent learning, analytical thinking, research and communication in your area of interest via project-based learning.

The term multimedia is used to describe the integrated presentation of text, graphics, sound and images, including digital video via computer-based media. Multimedia includes the study of animation and games for mobile devices, web design, digital video, and audio production. Students who study multimedia are able to create and apply digital content for communication, education and entertainment.
A qualification in multimedia studies is the ticket to a career in the digital media industries. The term multimedia refers to products and services that combine different types of media into one. With the help of digital technology, multimedia producers can manipulate text, graphics, animation, audio and video elements into new interactive media forms such as mobile applications, web sites, computer games, DVDs and social media.
