A law degree will provide you with the qualifications to pursue a number of careers in the field of law, including solicitor, barrister, government legal officer, judicial officer, law academic, company director, in-house counsel, diplomat and politician. Our Bachelor of Laws program may also be undertaken by industry professionals looking to increase their knowledge of law within their own profession. Many law graduates work in areas directly related to the law, but also choose to work in occupations and industries where the knowledge and skills from a law degree are highly sought after and valued.
As one of the leading providers of distance education, we ensure that all of our distance education programs are delivered using engaging teaching methods that effectively deliver the program content. Our experienced, dedicated staff provide you with a high level of support, offering a number of services that are available for use at any time from wherever you may be studying. You are required to complete a total of 24 courses over a minimum of three years. There are 22 compulsory courses, and a choice of two electives from a specified list.

The Legal Practitioners Admission Board of Queensland has accredited our program. Upon graduation, you are also required to undertake a further period of practical legal training before being admitted as a legal practitioner.
