There are no limitations to where a business degree can take you. Graduates choose from a broad spectrum of occupations including administration officer/manager, economics advisor, quality manager, accountant, human resources manager, marketing manager, logistics manager, hospitality manger, property professional, purchasing and materials manager – just to name a few. The growth of the hospitality industry has opened many doors for graduates in areas such as hotels, restaurants, night clubs, conference centres, cruise liners, retailing, transportation, travel agencies, tour companies, tourist attractions, leisure centres, recreation and sport and cultural industries. Employment opportunities within these areas include hotel management, sales management, food and beverage management and public relations management.
If you have an Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) recognised Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Hospitality then the Bachelor of Hospitality Management has been specifically designed for you. Our program builds upon the skills and knowledge attained within the diploma and provides you with the opportunity to progress your existing studies.
This program will equip you with a broad range of knowledge and skills required for a diverse career in hospitality. You will study 12 core courses and four electives which will provide you with extensive knowledge and skills in key hospitality management areas. You will study courses in event and leisure management, resort and hotel management, special interest tourism, marketing, destination marketing, entrepreneurship, innovation and new ventures, marketing of service products, contemporary organisational and human resources management studies and more. The combination of courses within this program provides a comprehensive knowledge of the major components of hospitality management, enabling you to graduate work-ready.
The Bachelor of Hospitality Management is up-to-date with and professionally relevant to modern hospitality practices. As such, it is well recognised by five-star hotels and restaurants around Australia.
Prior to undertaking this program you must complete an Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) recognised Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Hospitality.

If you enter the program with an Advanced Diploma of Hospitality you will receive an additional four courses of credit and therefore will not be required to complete the four electives.
