Graduate Diploma of Management

The Graduate Diploma of Management is the next step from the Graduate Certificate in Management and is a pathway into several masters programs, including the Master of Business Administration.  Like the Graduate Certificate in Management, this program is ideal for professionals looking to up-skill for career progression.  Graduates will expand their knowledge from a wide variety of professions, particularly those who see their future prospects in middle and top managerial positions within organisations.

Within the Graduate Diploma of Management you will choose six postgraduate courses  providing you the flexibility to tailor the program based on your specific areas of interest/specialisation. You can gain entry to this program via the Graduate Certificate in Management and therefore don't necessarily need an undergraduate degree to commence postgraduate study in this area.

Entry Requirements

Entry Requirements for the Graduate Diploma of Management include:

• a bachelor degree in any discipline from an Australian university or college, or equivalent; or
• a CQUniversity Graduate Certificate in Management, or equivalent.

Program Structure

You are required to complete 6 courses (48 units of credit) including:

• five elective postgraduate courses from a selected list, provided prerequisites have been met; and
• one elective postgraduate course selected from any eight credit point postgraduate course available at CQUniversity, provided prerequisties have been met.

Students wishing to specialise in a particular functional area can enroll in the available courses in that specialisation, while those seeking a broader base to their management education can enroll in a range of functional courses. Commencing students should consult the Postgraduate Program Advisor about a suitable program of study if they are concerned about setting a program that meets their needs, or if they are considering enrolling later in a masters degree program.
