Graduate Certificate in Management

Professionals seeking to increase their skill-set for career progression or managerial positions within commerce, industry or government are ideal candidates for this program.

The Graduate Certificate in Management is a short program of only one term full-time (six months) or one year part-time, making it an ideal way to gain the skills, knowledge and qualifications for an upcoming promotion. Within this program you will choose three courses from the Faculty of Arts, Business, Informatics and Education. This gives you the flexibility to design your program to suit your career aspirations, or study courses related to your business area of interest.

If you have relevant management and business experience, you can gain entry to the Graduate Certificate in Management without an undergraduate degree.  The program is a pathway to the Graduate Diploma of Management and the Master of Business Administration.

Entry Requirements

Entry requirements for the Graduate Certificate in Management include: 

• a bachelor degree in any discipline from an Australian university or college, or equivalent; or
• a recognised diploma or a recognised certificate IV and two years relevant business experience; or
• a minimum of five years relevant management experience; or
• a minimum of 10 years relevant business experience.
