The Diploma in Management is a nationally recognised qualification specifically designed to provide students with comprehensive skills and knowledge in management. It is also designed for managers, team leaders and supervisors working in, or aspiring to work in, management positions who do not have any formal qualifications in management.
Individuals who are wanting to develop their supervisory and management skills.
Career paths include supervisory and middle management roles in large and small organisations
If you are interested in studying business there are a number of programs that may be suitable depending on your goals, interests and level of experience. CQUniversity’s Bachelor of Business will allow you to tailor your study to your career aspirations offering majors in Accounting, Human Resource Management, Information Systems, Management, Marketing, Property, Public Relations, Supply Chain Management, Sustainability or Tourism.
There are no formal requirements for entry into this course. However, the preferred pathway is completion of BSB40807 Cert IV in Frontline Management or another qualification; or vocational experience without the formal management or supervisory qualification.
This program is offered on-line with support from an industry qualified trainer. Learning materials are provided that allow the learner to progress at their pace in line with work and personal commitments.
Depending upon your experiences and time availability, completing this course could take up to 6 months.
Enrolment can be for the whole qualification, for groups of units or for individual units of competence.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a process where a student may be granted credit or partial credit towards a qualification in recognition of skills and knowledge gained through work experience, life experience and/or formal training.
Assessment activities will be a combination of knowledge tests, written assignment, case studies and projects. Where practicable and appropriate, assessments will either be contextualised to a work place, or undertaken within your workplace
