About the course

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who use well-developed skills and a broad knowledge base in a wide variety of contexts. They apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems, and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others.

Who Should Study this course?

Individuals who are currently engaged in project roles seeking a formal project management qualification or individuals seeking to expand their current management and leadership skills into a project management environment.

After achieving this qualification candidates may undertake BSB51407 Diploma of Project Management.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal requirements for entry into this course.

Course Structure

Full-time: On-campus 2.5 days per week for 18 weeks.

This course is delivered at 108 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne

Part-time: There are part-time opportunities for individuals currently working but wanting to further their management training using both an online and intense workshop method of delivery

RPL

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a process where a student may be granted credit or partial credit towards a qualification in recognition of skills and knowledge gained through work experience, life experience and/or formal training.

Assessments

Assessment activities will be a combination of knowledge tests, written assignment, case studies and projects. Where practicable and appropriate, assessments will either be contextualised to a work place, or undertaken within your workplace

Eligibility for Government Funded Training (Victorian Students Only)

Subsidised training is available to eligible individuals through the Victorian Government. You must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident, residing in Victoria and undertaking a course at a higher level than what you may currently hold. If you hold a degree or higher which is recognised in Australia you will be ineligible for VTG. You may be required to pay a co-contribution depending on the qualification you are undertaking.

The student tuition fees are indicative only and subject to change given individual circumstances at enrolment. Additional fees may apply such as student services and amenity fees.
