The Certificate IV in Front Line Management is a nationally recognised qualification specifically designed to provide students with comprehensive skills and knowledge to enter a management role. It is also designed for managers, team leaders and supervisors working in, or aspiring to work in, management positions who do not have any formal qualifications in management.
Individuals who are wanting to develop their supervisory and management skills and who have aspiration for further studies at diploma and degree level.
Career paths include supervisory and middle management roles in large and small organisations
Diploma of Management in a range of disciplines; however the BSB51107 Diploma of Management is recommended
There are no formal requirements for entry into this course.
This program is offered on-line with support from an industry qualified trainer. Learning materials are provided that allow the learner to progress at their pace in line with work and personal commitments.
Depending upon your experiences and time availability, completing this course could take up to 6 months.
Enrolment can be for the whole qualification, for groups of units or for individual units of competence.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a process where a student may be granted credit or partial credit towards a qualification in recognition of skills and knowledge gained through work experience, life experience and/or formal training.
Assessment activities will be a combination of knowledge tests, written assignment, case studies and projects. Where practicable and appropriate, assessments will either be contextualised to a work place, or undertaken within your workplace
Subsidised training is available to eligible individuals through the Victorian Government. You must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident, residing in Victoria and undertaking a course at a higher level than what you may currently hold. If you hold a degree or higher which is recognised in Australia you will be ineligible for VTG. You may be required to pay a co-contribution depending on the qualification you are undertaking.
The student tuition fees are indicative only and subject to change given individual circumstances at enrolment. Additional fees may apply such as student services and amenity fees.
