About HealthTrain

Owned by HealthTrain Education Services Pty Ltd, HealthTrain is a Registered Training Organisation and has been a leading provider of vocational education training in the health, nursing and aged care industries since the early 1990′s.

As part of its commitment to developing a range of quality, learner centric and industry focussed vocational education and training programs, CQUniversity acquired HealthTrain Education Services Pty Ltd as a subsidiary company of the university in mid-2012.

Building upon its reputation as a quality training provider HealthTrain programs will be expanded to provide opportunities for further study at a tertiary level through CQUniversity’s range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered throughout Australia.  While these pathways open up longer term career opportunities, HealthTrain will maintain a focus on meeting local employment and the skills needs of businesses and industry sectors as is the hallmark of all good vocational education and training providers.

To further emphasise this link between HealthTrain and the University, Train@CQUniversity will become the brand that will become synonymous with the University’s aspiration to be Australia’s most engaged University, with HealthTrain playing a pivotal role as a Registered Training Organisation in the important the vocation education and training sector.
