Benefits of Studying Abroad:
All while earning credit towards your degree at home!
Housing: Host Family
Academics:
The classes that I participated in during the program were extremely interesting and I really enjoyed experiencing university learning in another country. Studying abroad has added so much value to my degree.
Optional Excursions: I also participated in the Berlin trip as well as the day trips to Eisenach and Weimar. These excursions were a lot of fun and allowed me to see even more of Germany’s beauty. The Berlin trip was particularly exciting as we packed as much as we could into a short space of time on our mission to see everything the city had to offer (day and night!). These trips were also an opportunity to get to know the other participants better, as you spent more time together than you did on a regular day.
Most Memorable Moment: I have so many wonderful memories from my time in Germany that it’s impossible to choose just one. I can narrow down my favourite moments to the time I spent with my host family. I stayed with an amazing family that had a Mum, Dad and 4 children, as well as another student from the program, so there was never a dull moment in the house! We got along so well and I know I’ve made a connection for life with them. I can’t wait to go back and visit them in Germany, and they promised they would come and visit me in Australia!
Most important statement: Studying abroad is the most wonderful experience you can have as a student. It opens your eyes to the world and I strongly encourage everyone to take advantage of this life changing opportunity.
