Job Guide

To assist you in learning more about specific occupations, visit My Job Guide and follow the steps outlined below.

Step 1

Go to Job Guide and select GRAPHIC.

Step 2

Click on BUILDING YOUR CAREER located on the left side menu.

Step 3

Click on JOBS CHART located on the left side menu.

Step 4

Select the type of work that suits you. Example: Helping or advising

Step 5

Review the SKILL LEVELS and select the level you hope to obtain.

Example: Skill level 4 (Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma).

Step 6

Scroll down and review the OCCUPATIONS within your desired skill level.

Step 7

Select an occupation.

Step 8

Read through the occupation details. 

Step 9

Select and review state/territory information.

Step10

Interpret your results:

a. Access the Career Directory link to see what CQUni program you need to study to achieve this Career Path.

b. Access the My Future website to research the occupation you have been matched with further.

c. Find out more about the program in the Student Handbook. Example: to find out more about the Bachelor of Psychology program, click 'Undergraduate' on the left hand side of the student handbook page. Click the third program group titled 'Humanities, Psychology and Social Work.' Now find ' CU77- Bachelor of Psychology' to read more about this program.


 

Step 11

How to enrol:

a. To enrol in a CQUni program access the How To Apply page which will inform you of the application process.

 b. To assist you with following through with your intention to study, you should complete the Action Plan which will assist you in prioritising your tasks in a set timeframe. 

c. If you need financial information such as Fees and Charges, Scholarships and Finance access the Financial Information page.
