To be eligible to receive the QCWA Central Highlands Division Bursary an applicant must meet the following criteria:
·Permanent Home address is in the Central Highlands of Central Queensland
(Moranbah in the north, Dingo in the east, Rolleston and Springsure in the south and Rubyvale, Clermont and Capella in the west)
·Entering into their second year of full-time study at CQUniversity in 2013
·Enrolled at CQUniversity at time of Census Date.
·Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents.
Each applicant will be assessed based on an Application Form, Academic Performance in their first year of study and supporting documentation:

oFinancial need and
oDemonstrated diligence

Please Note: Complete Applications must be received at the Student Support Centre, Scholarships Office by the closing date.
A selection panel, consisting of representatives from QCWA Central Highlands Division and CQUniversity will be formed to determine the successful applicant. A scholarship will only be offered where there is an applicant of sufficient merit. All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their applications as soon as possible after the selection panel sits.
