EH and FC Churchward Memorial Bursary

The EH and FC Churchward Memorial Bursary will be offered to a second year student in the Bachelor of Science (Agricultural and Food Science specialisation).

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to receive The EH and FC Churchward Memorial Bursary an applicant must:

•  Be enrolled at CQUniversity at the time of Census Date
• Have a residential postcode in the Bundaberg Region (4620-4675)
• Be entering into their 2nd year of study in Bachelor of Science (Agricultural and Food Science) in Term one
• Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  

Selection Criteria

Preference will be given to students who express an interest in pursuing a career within the Sugar Cane industry, or Agriculture in genera lwithin the Bundaberg region. Applicants will be assessed based on;

•  An application form
• Evidence of Academic Achievement in the 1st year of your program
• A written submission addressing the following criteria:

"How the Bachelor of Science Program (Specialisation) at CQUniversity Bundaberg will enable me to be what I want to be"

How do I apply?

To apply for the EH and FC Churchward Memorial Bursary:

1. Read the Scholarship Guidelines
2. Complete a Scholarship Application Form
3. Ensure all  supporting documentation is completed and attached as outlined in the Scholarship Guidelines
4. Submit your Scholarship Application to the Student Support Centre by the closing date – refer to the Scholarship Application Form for submission options

Please Note: Complete Applications must be received at the Student Support Centre, Scholarships Office by the closing date.

How will I know the outcome of my application?

A selection panel, consisting of representatives from The EH and FC Churchward Foundation and CQUniversity will be formed to determine the successful applicant in each instance. All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their applications as soon as possible after the selection panel sits.
