Commonwealth Scholarships (Continuing)

If you are a NEW student and have not received a Commonwealth Scholarship previously but would like to apply for this scholarship, please refer to the Indigenous Commonwealth Scholarship link under the Indigenous section at www.cqu.edu.au/scholarships The Commonwealth Scholarships comprise two main categories: Commonwealth Education Costs Scholarships (CECS) which are generally to assist with education costs; and Commonwealth Accommodation Scholarships (CAS) which are generally to assist with accommodation costs. Enabling-CECS and Enabling-CAS are awarded for up to two scholarship periods to assist students to undertake an eligible enabling program.

Supporting Documentation

In addition to your Commonwealth Scholarship Continuing Eligibility form, please provide the following relevant documentation:

• Most recent Centrelink Income Statement for yourself

• Most recent Centrelink Income Statement for your partner (if applicable)

• Your three (3) most recent payslips

• Your partner's three (3) most recent payslips

How do I apply?

To continue your Commonwealth Scholarship:

1. Read the Commonwealth Scholarship Continuing Eligibility Guidelines

2. Complete the Commonwealth Scholarship Continuing Eligibility Form 

3. Ensure all supporting documentation is completed and attached as outlined in the Scholarship Guidelines

4. Submit your Continuing Eligibility Form and relevant supporting documentation to the Student Support Centre by the closing date via the following:
