The Anglicare Central Queensland Scholarship will provide a $2000 scholarship to assist with the educational costs associated with a work placement as part of the student’s academic course Fieldwork Education 2 (SOWK14009). The student must be enrolled in this course in term two of the fourth year of study and willing to complete the required practicum with Anglicare Central Queensland.

To be eligible to receive The Anglicare Central Queensland Scholarship an applicant must meet the following criteria:
• Enrolled in the course Fieldwork Education 2 (SOWK14009)
• Entering into their 4th year of study
• Willing to complete the required practicum with Anglicare Central Queensland
• Enrolled at CQUniversity (in the above mentioned course) at the time of Census Date
• An Australian Citizen or permanent resident or holder of a Permanent Humanitarian Visa
Each Applicant will be assessed based on and application form, supporting documentation and a written submission of no more than 500 words addressing the following criteria:
• Academic achievement; and
• Career aspirations.
A 500 word statement is required. Please refer to Selection Criteria.

Please Note: Complete Applications must be received at the Student Support Centre, Scholarships Office by the closing date.
The selection panel will provide a decision to students on the outcome of their application within 6 weeks of the closing date of the Scholarship. In cases where this is not possible, the students will be informed of a revised date within this 6 week period.
