I am a Registered Nurse with extensive experience in the perioperative environment in addition to the critical care setting. My previous role as a member of the general surgery team at a major trauma hospital in Brisbane provided me with extensive exposure to organ transplants, major trauma and complex general surgical cases on a daily basis.
My interests in nursing are focused on improving the understanding of anatomy, physiology and pharmacology among nurses, promoting the nursing profession and nursing professionalism, and exploring ways of delivering the undergraduate nursing curriculum in newer and brighter ways.
