I first came to CQU on a 3 month casual contract back in 2005 to assist in a research survey and once that was completed I was offered to take on the Administration Coordinator role, full time, for the CAS(Competence Assessment Service) course for re entry nurses.  After having children I moved back to a part time basis doing the same role in 2008.  CAS has now been superceded with the CRNRC (CQUnviersity Registered Nurse Re entry Course) when Australia went to the national nursing governing body AHPRA. 

In late 2010 I also took on the role of Program Administrator for Specialty Studies - post graduate nursing courses. 

Both the specialty studies courses and the CRNRC are now apart of the Centre for Professional Health Education (CPHE) and we are now prodominantly an online course provider for not only re entry nursing and specialty studies but also in continuing professional development courses boasting a vast array of nursing areas including wound management, national competency assessment tests, first aid, organ and tissue donation in Australia, preceptor training packages, sexual health and much more.
