Karen Klockner works as Senior Lecturer at Central Queensland University in the School of Human, Health and Social Services. Karen teaches across the OH&S, Human Factors, Rail Safety and Accident Phenomenology programs at CQUniversity.
Prior to joining CQUniversity Karen was the Manager of Human Factors at the Rail Safety Regulation Branch for the Department of Transport and Main Roads in Queensland.
She is a Registered Psychologist and has a Masters in Human Factors and Safety Management Systems and is currently completing a PhD in Accident Modelling for the Rail Industry through CQUniversity.
Karen has extensive experience working in the both general and organisational Psychology as well as Human Factors and Occupational Health and Safety fields. Her areas of research interest are Human Factors, Safety Science, Mindfulness and Psychology particularly Sport and Organisational Psychology.
