    I have been frequently interviewed by newspapers, radio and TV stations on various topics in clinical psychology.

    Background

    I completed my Ph.D. at the University of Wollongong in 1994 and have been working at the CQ University since 1995.

    I have taught various subjects such as Physiological Psychology (2nd year subject), Cognitive Psychology (3rd year subject), Individual Differences and Assessment (3rd year subject). I have also taught advanced Assessment for Masters in Clinical Psychology students. 

    Professional Experience

    I have been practising psychological and counselling services in Queensland since 1998.

    Professional Memberships

    I am a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS)  and the APS Clinical College.

    Responsibilities

    I have been teaching Personality (2nd year subject) in Term 1, 2013 and Physiological Psychology (2nd year subject) in Term 2, 2013. Also supervise some 4th year students research projects. Currently I am co-supervisor of some Ph.D. students. I am also supervising practicum of some 4th year students.

    Professional Interests

    I am interested in research in clinical psychology, memory and learning and issues related to children and adolescents' mental health.

    Computer Software

    I am able to design psychological experiments using E-Prime. I teach data analysis to Ph.D. and the university staff members using SPSS and AMOS software packages.
