    Dr Linda De George-Walker is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology in the School of Human, Health and Social Sciences at the Bundaberg campus and joined Central Queensland University in 2011. She has worked as an academic in Queensland universities for over 10 years. 

    Throughout her academic career, Linda has taught courses mostly in the areas of educational, developmental and school psychology, psychometric assessment, special education, and guidance and counselling. Her research interests include self-efficacy and teacher self-efficacy; school based mental health and social and emotional learning; teaching and learning in higher education, including blended and mobile learning; and capacity building. More recently she has been interested in the role of ICT and digital literacies for learning, health and wellbeing, especially for older adults.

    Linda is also a registered Psychologist. Prior to working in the university sector her professional work as a psychologist included working in school counselling, disability support roles, and training and staff development. She also conducted her own part-time private psychology practice working with youth and adults with mental health issues.
