    I have been a social worker for 17 years and  have worked as a social worker in Australia, England and Canada in a range of positions including management and research.  During my career I have worked in child protection, aged are, youth justice, sexual assault, mental health and drug and alcohol fields in government and non government organisations.  I am currently studying a PhD which focuses on social inclusion of mental health consumers in rural and metropolitan Queensland.

    Background
    I have been employed at CQU Australia since 2009.  I developed the  Professional Practice and Mental Health  and Ethical Professional Practice courses.  I  currently teach Contemporary Social Policy and Professional Practice and Mental Health.
