I arrived at CQUniversity in 2010 after working in a number of UK Universities. I'm proud to lead a vibrant school with a diverse range of disciplines and research across the broad areas of Psychology, Population Health and Health Professions & Human Services. In recent years, our school has grown nearly 50% to over 1000 equivalent full-time students and nearly 60 staff. We have activity and staff based at the Mackay, Rockhampton, Bundaberg, Noosa, Brisbane, Adelaide campuses of CQUni and the Geraldton University Centre. We are shortly extending our activity to the Sydney and Melbourne campuses. I'm also very pleased to be located at the Bundaberg campus and am keen to promote the Wide Bay region as an outstanding environment to pursue University studies and research.

Awards

2012: CQUniversity Bundaberg Prize for Excellence in Research (with M Rockloff, and P Donaldson)

1995: Award for most outstanding graduate student presentation at 22nd Annual Australian Experimental Psychology Conference.

1991: Hwyell Murrell Prize for highest degree marks in year
