Michael Muchiri obtained his PhD in Management from the University of New England, Armidale, Australia. His research interests include transformational leadership, social processes of leadership, positive leader behaviours, workplace safety and leadership processes in emerging economies.
Michael has published a number of articles in the Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, Leadership & Organization Development Journal, Journal of Management & Organization, and the International Journal of Organisational Behaviour. His work has also been published as a book chapter by the American Psychological Association. Michael has written more than 20 conference papers presented in conferences such as the US Academy of Management, the International Association for Conflict Management, the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management, and the African International Business and Management.
Michael is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board for Leadership & Organization Development Journal.
