The Institute is a federation of Research Centres and emerging groups undertaking research aligned with broad strategic areas of IRIS research. The Institute recognises the following categories of membership for research and academic staff:
Researchers who have aligned their research activities with a Centre or a Group belonging to IRIS are admitted as Members. Please contact the Director of a relevant Research Centre or the Leader of a Group if you wish to join IRIS as a Member
CQUni researchers, who would like to be informed about opportunities for doing research with IRIS, are welcome to join as Affiliate Members.
Student
A Research Higher Degree student who aligns their thesis topic with IRIS research directions and is supervised by an IRIS Member or an Affiliated Member is recognised as a Student Member.
