Applying for Membership

IRIS Members & Categories of Membership

The Institute is a federation of Research Centres and emerging groups undertaking research aligned with broad strategic areas of IRIS research. Details of the Institute research directions and the list of current Research Centres and Groups forming IRIS can be found on the Institute website: http://www.cqu.edu.au/iris

The Institute recognises the following categories of membership for research and academic staff:

  • Member

Researchers who have aligned their research activities with a Centre or a Group belonging to IRIS are admitted as Members. Please contact the Director of a relevant Research Centre or the Leader of a Group if you wish to join IRIS as a Member

  • Affiliate Member

CQUni researchers, who would like to be informed about opportunities for doing research with IRIS, are welcome to join as Affiliate Members.

  • Student

A Research Higher Degree student who aligns their thesis topic with IRIS research directions and is supervised by an IRIS Member or an Affiliated Member is recognised as a Student Member.
